What is considered outbreak testing?

Outbreak status is when three or more cases are linked epidemiologically that do not share the same household and are not listed as close contacts of each other outside the outbreak setting. Schools should conduct twice- weekly testing for unvaccinated staff and students until the school has gone two incubation periods (28 days) without identifying new cases.
